Can you remove scratches from my car?
Answer: It depends on how deep the scratch is. • Light or surface scratches (just on the clear coat) can often be removed. Juan first applies a small amount of compound by hand, then uses a professional buffing machine to polish the area and finish with a protective wax that brings out a deep, even shine. • Deeper scratches that go through the paint or primer usually can’t be removed through detailing. In those cases, the best option is to visit a body shop for repair or repainting. Because every scratch is different, Juan prefers to see it in person before confirming what is possible. He will always give an honest, realistic answer—no guesswork, no false promises.
Do you come to my location?
Answer: Yes! Juan offers mobile auto detailing and brings his equipment right to your location — whether it’s your home, workplace, or apartment complex (if permitted). At home: Most customers prefer the convenience of detailing in their own driveway or private parking area. At work: If your job site allows it, Juan can detail your car while you work — for example, at an office, bank, or business parking lot. Apartments: He can also perform details in apartment or condo parking lots, as long as management allows mobile services. Pro tip: Please make sure there is enough space around the vehicle and access for Juan to set up his equipment.
What happens if it rains on my appointment day?
Answer: Juan keeps an eye on the weather forecast and always makes sure your vehicle is detailed under the best possible conditions. On the morning of your appointment, Juan checks the weather and contacts you directly: • If your detail is scheduled for later in the day (for example, at 2 p.m.), he’ll reach out between 8 a.m. and 10 a.m. to confirm or reschedule. • If your appointment is early in the morning, he will contact you beforehand to decide together whether to proceed or postpone. If rain is expected, Juan will reschedule your appointment for the soonest clear day that works for you.
Do you need water or electricity from me?
Answer: No — Juan brings everything he needs to complete your detail, including water and a generator for electricity.
How long does a detail take?
Answer: Each package has its own estimated time based on the level of service and size of the vehicle. You can view all of Juan’s packages and time estimates on the Services page of the website.
Do you charge a travel fee?
Answer: Juan provides mobile detailing services in the Smyrna, GA area and the Hillsborough–Carrbo ro–Chapel Hill–Durham, NC area. For appointments within roughly 30 minutes of these areas, no travel fee applies. If your location is more than 30 minutes away, there will be a small additional travel fee (exact amount to be determined). This helps cover travel time and fuel costs, since every extra hour on the road means less time Juan can spend detailing vehicles for other clients. When you book, Juan will let you know right away if your address falls outside the standard service zone and will confirm the exact fee upfront — no surprises, no hidden costs.
What forms of payment do you accept?
Answer: Juan accepts several convenient forms of payment: Cash Credit and debit cards Zelle Checks If you choose to pay by credit card, please note that the credit card processing fee is added to the total. This fee goes directly to the card company, not to Juan. For the most accurate total, Juan will let you know the final amount, including any processing fee, before completing your payment.
Is there a fee for paying by credit card?
Answer: Yes — when paying by credit card, a small processing fee is added to your total. This fee goes directly to the credit card company, not to Juan. Juan believes in full transparency, so before completing your payment, he’ll always let you know the exact total, including any processing fee. If you prefer, you can also pay by cash, debit card, Zelle, or check — these methods don’t include any extra fees.
